Need some advice please !
Hello! I wish to buy a new loudspeaker. I own 2 no-name (phantom) speakers and their time had passed away. The speakers that I would buy shall be used indoor & outdoor, depending on the event that I must join. I read some discussions and forums, and I decided to choose between those 3 models:
1. Wharfedale DLX-15 DLX-15 - DLX SERIES - Wharfedale Pro 2. Yahama S115V S115V - Concert Club V Series - Yamaha - Other European Countries 3. Electro Voice ELX115 Electro-Voice ELX115 15? Live X Two-way Loudspeaker My amplifier is a Behringer EP4000. Which of those speakers should I choose ? I want to buy the first speaker now, and the other (or the others) at the beginning of the next year... P.S: Sorry for my English, I’m sure it’s not perfect … |

My choice would be EV...or Yamaha no Wharfedale please....Once I met some bigger units containing 2x15'' + 2'' active.....uh what a nightmare...
But I'm afraid that your amp is a little too powerful for all of those speakers so be careful..... Regards, Taj |

EV.... definately for foh
The only speaker I like from the yamaha club V series is the 15" two way floor monitor. I've never heard of the Wharefedale brand. It looks like a imitation Community speaker. Last edited by DavesNotHere; 10th December 2011 at 11:18 PM. |
