Interest in 22" EFL w/ 5" Diameter Opaque PJ lens? - Page 7

They're selling the whole units for 40 bucks and they have tons of these with the 18" and 22" lenses. I was buying the whole units and stripping the lenses out.

slizm: If you are stripping any more of those opaque projectors, they all probably have a first-surface mirror in there. Some DIY projector buyers might be interested in those.

I see the 18" lenses go for about $75 + shipping on ebay quite often. I know I paid $75 for my 22" lens. So you might want to consider buying them up and then putting the lenses on eBay (slowly of course!) They have safeguards like Paypal to take most of the hassle out of selling stuff like this.

could i purchase a fs mirror off of you. i really need one and it is the last thing i need to buy for my projector.

i want to buy one from diypc but they take really long sometimes.

I don't think it's you. I exchanged a couple of emails with slizm but haven't heard anything for a few days now. Could be that they have been busy, out of town or something. I'm not sure. I'm hoping to get another reply soon because I will definitely buy a lens if one is still available.
