I am with Pinkmouse on that one. Superb album indeedDimeola, McLaughlin and de Lucia, Friday Night in San Francisco.
Also, if you like some bluesy stuff: The Robert Cray band, "Live from across the pond" Very good sound-quality.

I'm actually not a huge fan of Eva Cassidy, but reckon that this recording is worth buying just to hear how good a live recording can be. Her other recordings leave me kind of indifferent, but this one is, as you say, phenomenal.
Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus - 1978. Extraordinary recording or just a fluke, but who cares, it's fabulous.
Dave Grusin - NY - LA Dreamband - 70's ? Crystal clear resolution.
Rolling Stones - Stripped - 1994. Charlie Watts says this might be the band's best work.
Eric Clapton - 24 Nights - 1992. Gotta be the best version of Sunshine of your Love he ever did.
Roy Buchanan - Livestock. Some scintillating guitar work.
