this band is intense-Isis

anyone listen ti Isis ever? freakin amazing as all hell! 5 piece band, consist of a sick yet simple drummer, vocal/guitar, guitar, and guitar/keys. so in most of there songs they get 3 guitars going and it sounds amazing. the mix is different, the singer doesnt sing much, mostly screams(rarely even that), and the screams are deep inside the mix. a very musical band. very heavy, very suspensful.

its crazy cuz at their shows where you would normaly see the floor moshing franticlly to heavy riffs, everyone just stands there jaws dropped, staring at music. i've never seen anything like it. they just went on tour recently with tool, so thats cool im glad they are getting out there.

i suggest everyone check this band out. Isis, some good albums to start with are Oceanic, and Celestial. they have many but these will suck you in.
