Well Joni Mitchell, Emmylou Harris & Bonnie Raitt are favorite female musicians, who can sing and play, a couple of other female musicians/singers who are great:

kevinh many years i loved her songs[ Alison Krauss ] today i have a beautiful song frome china. the song from " The Dream of the Red Chamber" movie. i ever watched this sad movie. remember that watch n cry, cry n watch until the end. lol didn't know the story on the movie. i call this artist 101 girls band.
