Default Kraftwerk cover CD - traditional Japanese instruments

Hi

Who can tell me the name of the CD released about five years ago, of Kraftwerk covers all performed on traditional Japanese instruments?

Thanks

Thanks Rob, but that's just albums recorded by Kraftwerk, not covers

I've had a google but it's a needle in a haystack

Thanks Infinia, but that appears to be an individual track.

Maybe this album was too X cultural, and sank without a trace?

I apologise in advance for being very off topic I have a vague recollection of a caribbean band who covered Kraftwerk in a calypso style - very good.

My favourite kraftwerk pastiche is :

though of course there was the band Autobahn in the movie "The Big Lebowski"

Rick must be super obscure as the "covers project" is pretty good. It is very Wiki like, in that is updated based on user input.

Jives11 thanks for the link. Of course the best parody of krautrock is Mike Myers skits on SNL ie "Sprockets" very funny.

Check out the PA in the attached image. Interesting looking Hi-Fi.

It occurred to me afterward that the song sung in the Bill Bailey may not be familar outside the UK, hence robbing the joke of much of it's absurd humour. The thought of KW performing a song (with actions) commmonly performed by children and drunken old people at weddings seems very funny to me, like them performing
"Mein Hut hat drei Ecken "

His U2/"the Edge" solo gone wrong sketch is also very funny.

The guy who performs Kraftwerk calypso style is called Señor Coconut.

But the big question is who made the music in question? I would like to listen to it.

Hikashu could still be a good bet http://www.artskool.biz/jem/hikashu.html
scroll down to where it mentions Kraftwerk

but what about Balanescu Quartet they made a record with some really good Kraftwerk coverversions all played on string instruments
