Thanks Rob but I don't think that is what I am looking for.
My wife wanted a recording of the song that she heard on the radio in the 1980s or 90s.
I am sure that this is a song that is sung in English.

I cant believe that no one has heard of this song but my wife.
It was one of the first vidieos she saw on mtv.

Yes the Matt Frewer Max Headroom introducing pop videos. Classics such as rats on a budget ~ get out of london ~ sensoria ~ out of the fire ~ germans ~ living in the usa and with all of Max's funny lines - the ones he speaks and the ones behind him!
Whatever happend to Tim the Producer?
What do you reckon Roy? Do you think Ch4 will release Max?

Early 80's MTV had an amateur video contest. You could not have a recording contract. The group that won the contest won with the video and song "Rats on a budget". I remember in the video they actually had hamburgers in hamburger buns with feet and tail hanging out. I liked the video and would like to see/hear it again.

This song was recorded by Heat N Serve, I have the video off the 80's Max Headroom show, its hilarious! I've not been able to find an audio copy of it though, would love to get one.

I know the name of this woman, who sings the song "Rats on the Budget"
Majka Jezowska - she is from Poland. She lived in USA from 1982 where she sung in the international clubs in NY, Chicago and L.A. She was married to Tom Logan - amer. guitarist. In 1984 on the Music festival in Saint Tropez - France her video clip "Rats... " won the Grand Prix. Since mid 1980 she sings for children, very popular songs she has. You can find about her on her web site but everything there is in Polish language, but you can contact her, I think she will write to you with pleasure, English is not a problem.
