Default Alanis Morissette Lyric Generator

I wondered how in the world she could keep cranking out one dreadful "song" after another. Now I know.

Thank goodness for that. I thought I had to keep quiet about hating Alanis Morissette (especially when I received a CD of hers a few Christmases ago from well-meaning friends).

Nope. Join the club. I can't stand her. To each their own of course.

Now, if it was PJ Harvey you were talking about... (I am not worthy etc.) Or Patti Smith...

I put "Horses" (Patti Smith) on a couple of weeks ago. I was asked to turn it off...

Oh dear. That's worrying. Suggest to the individual in question they leave the room instead perhaps?

Best
Scott

Doing that would probably forfeit night-time "rights".

EC: My already considerable regard for her has gone up two notches.

I was informed by my ex that if I built any more speakers, she was going to put all of them, and me, outside in the car-port. I asked her (as a joke) if she was going to leave the speaker cable attached. She didn't speak to me for the next few days...

Perhaps start her on something like KT Tunstall (I actually like her believe it or not, she seems a happy little thing) and work up to Polly and Patti in gradual increments. Perhaps she won't notice.

It wasn't the happiness (or lack of it). The comment raised was, "She can sing, so why won't she?" Yet she liked Tom Waits - you just never know which way they're going to jump...
