Interesting mix of blues, jazz and a little of something else. Quite a change from his Tot Rocket & the Twins days.

You're familiar with George? Cool. Super nice fellow, besides being a wonderful songwriter and performer. He's playing next week again at Flipnotics, and in two weeks with a jazz trio at the Elephant Room.

I'm familiar with a lot of non mainstream music. Years of working with musicians and studios exposed me to a great deal of music that never made it to radio. I started running with music people in the early 1969 and never got away from it.

Thanks to him introducing me to one group before a show, the show had an unexpectedly long band without singer break while the staff tried to revive the lead singer. It must have been something she smoked.
