Now Playing + What are you listening to?

Joe Bonamassa
I know, and have some music of his. Pretty good and pretty much texan bluesrock. I like it and I like Stevie Ray, but thats not my particular favourite kind of blues.
My favourite kind is more acoustic and with finger picking guitar;)
Corey Harris and Keb' Mo' has made some major stuff lately;)
Thanks for the advices, Grimberg. I will look for the other names you mentioned:)

My favourite CDs today:
Madeleine Peyroux -- Half The Perfect World
As with (almost nearly) all of her recordings:
very well-recorded and well-mastered too (Bernie Grundman)
good songs (both her own stuff and the cover-versions selected),
quality accompanying musicians ( Larry Goldings, Dean Parks, Till Brönner, Sam Yahel et al.)
An audiophile gem -- maybe. A piece of good music -- you bet ! (Albeit with those Lenny Cohen or Tom Waits stuff on it is NOT on the party side of music )
Bo Ramsey -- Stranger Blues
No own songs just covers this time, no guitar pyrotechnics -- just the blues, played well with respect to the "fore-fathers" ..
If you like a bluesier variant of J.J. Cale -- this might be the one for you.
O.K., these two records are "a bit" on the depressive side of music ?? ( Kiddin' "a bit" here)
......then take Charmaine Neville, daughter to Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers -- It's about time.
(Yeah right -- if not long overdue !!!)
This record may be out of print by now, unfortunately -- so I'd really like to know whether she's been recording and releasing a lot of her music since 1995 ( .....when this live gem seems to have been recorded and I keep enjoying this one since this year over and over again !).
If you love modern New Orleans stuff, this is definitely the ticket to go. (Lively, lively, mon !)
Tomorrow: Who knows ??
