'Wake Up In New York' from Craig Armstrong's album As If To Nothing.
Evan Dando's voice is mesmerising. Followed by 'Let's Go Out Tonight' from Craig's album The Space Between Us. Paul [Blue Nile] Buchanan's performance is electrifying, although I'm still not convinced that this version is as good as the [much simpler] original version on the Nile's album Hats. |

I am getting in the mood -- Peter Conte with the Philadelphia Brass Ensemble "Christmas in the Grand Tradition" -- the Wanamaker Organ -- Gothic Records G-49264.
The organ was designated a National Historic Monument so Macy's can't screw with it. When this thing cranks the ladies undies rattle around. |

Gustav Mahler - Symphony No. 1 - Sir Georg Solti with London Symphony Orchestra.
Clearly represented, good flow, I like it.

Sorry, i have to edit my post. What is Solti doing in the final movement? I am worrying about the speakers!
Compare it with Kubeliks recording - a difference like day and night!
