Default Vassar Clements, RIP

Another of the true greats of American music has died.

If you don't know his music, you should. His violin playing was not only technically astonishing, he was perhaps the best at improvisation on that instrument that I've ever heard.

Tonight, I'll be spinning some discs and popping a nice bottle in his honor.
