a band called Ra

I did a search and am surprised, and disappointed, to not find a single thread containing this band. If you like any sort of rock, I urge you to download this band, they are flat out amazing. I am not affiliated with this band in any way, but this is a shameless plug, only because I love them so much that I want them to get as much exposure as possible. Do yourselves a favor and download some of their songs, here are some of the best: Sky, On My Side, Superman, The Only One...but everyone has their own taste so my suggestion is just to check them out...and please respond if you do, I would love to hear what someone else thinks.

A quick search found the band's website. I got a lot more hits for Sun Ra and his Arkestra, which is only justice.

Did you read the article in the New York Times last week about Marshall Allen trying to hold the band together? It was terribly sad.

Sorry to threadjack, but at least it's about some Ra or other.
