I have a song I don`t know the name of, but I do have some hints on the lyrics. Post your unknown songs here!
song I don`t know the name of: It sounds a bit like deep purple but more soft, more poplike. It has a long guitar solo, and is followed by a keyboard/organ solo. The lyrics go something like " black~~~Jack. Do it again" Thats all the info I`ve got

Steely Dan has done a version of this. Ive not heard any of his songs but google is a good place to start to find anything
all I did was put black jack "do it again" and it came up with that.

It's off the album "Cann't Buy A Thrill", it's all really good. The jazz feel is unmistakeable, not in the least bit like Rainbow. The kids of today know nothing

If it has got an instrumental solo that is sounding a bit like a Sitar then it is the Steely Dan version (i.e. the original). But there are many who have done cover versions. A quite good instrumental one is on the CD "Garden Party" which is consisting of Steely Dan covers.

23 and I knew it Actually looking back I think was 19 when I bought the CD below! I thought it was "so go back jack". Get the greatest hits album...like 20 years of Steely Dan or something...red I think. Sorry, A Decade Of Steely Dan You'll probably recognize some songs like FM Deacon Blues Hey 19 Reeling In The Years
