The ones that love brass bands... check this out, you will love it. You will either love it or hate it. It ain't any commercial scheit.
They are all gipsy from Romania that do a really great job. I saw them a few months ago live here in germany. They really rock. ![]() Or chek them on amazon The past albums are good too Some side notes: - they have no idea about music notes, they transfer their music/tradition from father to son - they used to sing at each and every wedding, burial in their village(they still do it when not touring different parts of the world) - they were discovered by some german guys that had to learn romanian to discuss with them. at the end this guys wed in romania - about 20% of the guys that were present at one of their live performance here in germany left about 10 minutes after they began. I guess they had now idea about their music and how loud they play. the others had a really really great time - funny thing, the train doesn't stop in their village so they have to jump out of the train(which slows down because of a street crossing) or go for several km to get in the train. |
