Well, I'm just interested in knowing what's your favorite recording for qualitative listening on a new pair of speakers.
I'll share first... 1. Roger Waters / Amused to death (24k gold print limited edition) Probably the best recording I've ever heard 2. Frank Zappa / hot rats (yeah I know, the recording kinda sucks) I like the mix and variety of instruments - stresses a speaker pretty good. 3. Tool / lateralus Very clean recording with impressive low frequency sounds Although after listening to an SACD (with SACD recordings, of course) I'm feeling pretty depressed with the quality of my player. Anybody? |
