I may be wrong, but I think a CD from Billy Joel was the first available (or one of the first available). The Dire Straits came quite a bit later.

Didier Squiban: Porz Gwenn

An outstanding piano CD from a French artist, a bit similar in style to Keith Jarrett's Köln Concert. In HDCD. Available directly from the production company http://www.loz-production.com/2008/01/25/squiban-bio/.

Some good recordings, some are not 'audiophile' but have lots of emotions. They all sound good and I also liked to hear them :

I use this Diana Krall also for certain tests; song 3 "Temptation" is quite challenging and can reveal problems/resonances in the bass.
