Mothvellum is a great prog rock band. They just broke up, so it looks like their first cd "Mothvellum", will be their last. I love their song "Against the Sun".
Their guitarist, Johannes Luley, is the greatest. |

I'm a big prog fan. Dream Theater got me started but I've listened to countless other prog bands since then. A few favorites are Spock's Beard, Devin Townsend, 3, The Flower Kings, Symphony X, King's X, and many more.

I think I'll go listen to King's X's Human Behavior right now. LOUD, so that I can hear the harmonics for weeks.

Oooh, other King's X fans!
Superb group, been into them since OOTSP. I saw them live last year for the third time, and they were excellent, as always. |

There are only two different types of music. Music that I like and music that I don't like.

Sendler I recognise quite few names on your list
![]() More prog rock the Chinese band Cold fairyland http://www.coldfairyland.com/ is worth a look if you like pipa and cello with some odd drum beats, their best music is dark and heavy. I am another person who hasn't voluntarily listened to the radio in over 25 years, it never played much of interest and suffering the disc jerk, news interruptions and inane advertisements made the signal to noise ratio way too high.
