Dream Theater is a good band to start with. They are impressive musicians and very dramatic music, but for me not something that last.

Tool is different. I really love this band. Especially the newer stuff like 10.000

One band that very few think of as prog rock is Scorpions. I stopped bying Scorpions with World Wide Live. But try Tokyo Tapes and Lonesome Crow. These are really great prog albums and Tokyo Tapes is one of my favorite live recordings.

Scorpions were more like glam pop/rock to me while most of everything that came from Germany was that kick *** Power/Heavy metal vibe so awesome!

I used to have hair like Klaus Meine. But I realised before him, that going bald and having long hair is a bad match.
