I am listening to my Elkie albums (SIGH! I am in love with this exceptional beautiful woman with an exceptional voice) and had to fill in some abysses:

Elkie Brooks - Amazing
Elkie Brooks - We've Got Tonite DVD/CD (Live)
O.M.D. - The Punishment Of Luxury
O.M.D. - History Of Modern
King Crimson - Live In Chicago
Moody Blues - Days Of Future Passed
Il Postino (DVD)

And before taking the Tsarskaya Vodka from the fridge (it's Midsummer Eve in Sweden today) I happened (well ...) to order some more:

Elkie Brooks - Electric Lady (CD)
Elkie Brook - Shangri La (CD)
Elkie Brooks - Rich Man's Woman & Two Days Away (CD)

I last bought David Gilmour’s ‘Rattle that Lock’. Very fancy box cover with small booklets and a whole bunch of stuff.
Problem is, the music is totally bereft of imagination and is utterly bland. Listened to it once and will never listen to it again. Dull as ditch water. Roger Waters last album was the same, perhaps worse.
The Floyd are no more.

I was 6 when i heard my first Floyd song. "HEY YOU". Knew the lyrics even before i could memorise twinkle little star. Yes, they are no more, but their memories are still..

My last actual album i bought, was a vinyl of Floyd's " THE WALL".
Was looking for it all over, till i found one in Dublin. Specially mail ordered it to cape town, so i can complete the album list. It was left to me by my old man. He had all the albums except "THE WALL". Took me a while, but it was still sealed. Too sentimental to open it.
