It took me 60+ years of living to appreciate John Hiatt
Sad commentary on musical tastes that John and Mark see their CDs in library sales...
I've always liked John. I have his later stuff, but not the earlier. It was perfect timing to get them. I agree, about the musical tastes. My musical tastes have expanded over time. And, I still like what I listened to many years ago. And about 1,500+ CDs in my collection, I have never got rid of any of them

and LPs so now I'm starting to rebuild my music library on CD.
I still have some on MP3 but for some albums I prefer the CD.
