Yeah, I remember listening to "Time Out" as a very young child. I have SACD, CD and Vinyl versions of that album, probably the best known song on that album is "Take Five"

I grew up listening to Brubeck records. I took up the alto saxophone because of Paul Desmond.
Never got to meet the man, sure wish I had. He had an enormous influence on my life. RIP Mr. Brubeck. |

My introduction to Brubecks music came from marching in an activity called drum corps. His music always lended itself well to the activity.
