Default Keith Moon wanted for olympic gig.

To funny to be true, but it is true. Olympic officials contacted The Who's manger to see if Keith could perform at the opening ceremony. I wonder if they will check John Bonham's availability next.

for the middle aged jazz crowd, I understand Buddy Rich and Miles Davis are touring together

Wow , I've been a drummer for a long time and that goes beyond hilarious !!.
Let me see who (pardon the pun) else can we drum up (oh no not again) !
Re Buddy & Miles , I hear Coltrane is also doing that gig !
Well you know when god created promoters he forgot to provide the intelligence part.
Cheers....

They could try Al Jackson Jr next.

When they get fed up trying to contact drummers through spirit mediums they should try Jaki Liebezeit who is the best drummer alive (or dead).
