would this be cool to listen to/ watch?
LOVE The Bolero by Ravel.
always thought it would be cool to conduct the piece with all the orchestra beginning offstage and walking in to their seats in some leisurly way to sit in the pit. Kind of akin to Cats where the cats come out of the audience at the beginning of the play. Not practical for some instruments, Tympani??!!, but those which could would make it quite a spectacle. Oui? Non?
