MP3 versions of the first 20 tracks...

OK, here they are in MP3. I did them at 192kbit to make the quality at least listenable. These should be easily burnable to a CD if you want to do that, or else listen from your computer using decent speakers or headphones.

It is a zip file, you'll have to first unzip (or extract) the files and then you should end up with 20 mp3 files. Total size is about 47MB.

That one I got (with help from Google):

Track 6: Big Boy Henry, "Old Bill" - Beaufort Blues

Also, I got the track number wrong on "Isn't She Lovely"...

The instrumentals aren't so easy to google, unfortunately!

Hope this doesn't spoil the game, but my daughter showed me an iPhone app that you just expose to about 10sec of a piece of music, through the smartphone mic, and it (about half the time) can identify the song, artist, and album. That's what did the "SoundHound" IDs of the first disk. Pretty darn neat. I didn't want to completely cheat, so I didn't put down its IDs of all the tracks it found. Maybe later I'll let it ID the stragglers when it can. Unfortunately, it does worst on classical pieces and couldn't get the first three tracks of Disk1.
