Hello All,
Much of this stuff is DIY and it does Rock and Blues, both kinds of music. I have been building tubes, Op-Amps, Jfets and Darlington triples for years. Last weekend I took the headphones off my head and hooked up a turn-table, tube RIAA pre-amplifier, stepped attenuator, tube buffer line stage Alesis 500 watt power amplifier, Behringer near field monitors sub-woofer made with dual 12” drivers from Parts-express, 250 watt M&K sub-amplifier from Apexjr and dual 12 M&K cabinet from Deep surplus. The first watt is nice and the other 750 are not bad either. Among other vinyl I have been listening to the AC-DC sound track from Iron Man II. It is not ear splitting but it is a kick in the as*. What is your fun music machine? DT All just for fun! |
