Thanks for the tip, gilid!
Faustian- they play a mix that's really interesting- a little country, blues, gospel, Memphis, zydeco, creole, swamp pop, all based in R&B. Give 'em a few songs and I think you'll be hooked like I am. Anybody that wants to hear, IMHO, the greatest radio station ever, click here- http://www.kbon.com/ Peace Lee P.S. Dean is definitely not George McGovern. He is an articulate, charismatic, and electable man in the right place at the right time with the right message.
I refuse to vote for a pseudo-republican who tempers his message at the sake of his principles. Will check out WFUV shortly, thanks for the lead! Lee |

SY-
I've been listening steady for a month or so and haven't heard any remotes.... Paul Marx (the owner) is one of two live DJ's, otherwise the automation is handled by something call "ACER" (I believe). Paul is sole owner and manager and determines the playlist, which he says has 19,000 songs, even for the other DJ. It really is outstanding and I urge you to check it out. Cheers Lee |

I'd love to, if only I had broadband...
Zydeco and traditional Cajun music are just wonderful. The 10 bar thing is rhythymically so interesting for those of us who have gotten accustomed to 12 bar. At least we've gotten to see Ida Guillory from time to time in San Francisco.
