Just got this 180 gram vinyl LP in the mail and had to take it for a spin.
This is the 30th anniversary remaster of the original Aja LP. I am always skeptical about remasters as they tend to disappoint (think compression for one thing), but this LP really shines. First, the vinyl is dead nuts quite. Second the mix is awesome. Every instrument and every detail is just there, even at a moderate listening volume. This, to me, is a very impressive value and the audio quality is as outstanding as the music. |
