I'm trying to put a name to a band I found on here and which I thought I'd saved the thread it was mentioned in. Sadly, no.
Anyway, the band was a 70's rock/blues outfit and had a name that began with something like Hap, Hip, Hop, Hup, etc, etc.
Can anyone help me? I can't remember the thread where I found it.
Thanks

Hot Tuna? Hootie and the Blowfish? Could you narrow it down to a country of origin? You could also look here:
Rock Bands - from A to Z
It might also help to know if they were popular or obscure.

Thanks Steve, but no it wasn't any of those bands and they're also not in your link.
I guess they must be a bit obscure - I've not heard of them before, but I was born in the 70's so I wouldn't know if they were big on the "underground" scene or not - they certainly aren't a name that is a well played in the UK, even on the "hits from yesterday" kind of shows.
I'd say their style was perhaps more blues/folk rock rather than rock.
Thanks for the help though.

Cold Blood, self titled as well.
I remember seeing them in concert at the old U-Vic gym sometime in the early/mid 70's - cooking San Francisco funk/rock/horns fusion and killer guitar work (was it Ryo Kawaski guesting on that gig?)
Lydia Pense circa 69-74 -in her mid twenties not too hard to look at either
thanks for spinning up the way-back machine
They certainly weren't obscure, they even had a couple of half decent musos.
Err, um
What can I say? I was born in '71 and only just discovered '70's rock.
But yeah, when I saw Frampton's name I thought, "Hmm, maybe not so obscure."
