Weired issue with CD-R medium...
Hi,
I burned a few LP rips and MFSL rips to a CD-R (Red book standard) using my laptop. The program used was Sony CD Architect. The CD-R was from Moserbaer (Moser Baer Gold CD-R). The issue is that, my CD player keeps on skipping the tracks. The player is Audio Aero Captiole. The same issue is present in other machines also.
1. Can someone tell me the reason ? Is that the medium or the CD-R causing the issue ?
2. Will trying a CD designed specially for audio solve the issue ?
3. Will I be able to burn such special CD's using my computer ?
Best regards,
Bins.

Hi,
The software is the one that is used for red book standard mastering. Anyway, I will try with EAC...

I'd suspect the program before the CD.
I've had good luck with Exact Audio Copy, it's a free download.
Hi,
Finally, settled down for (Maxell Maxel CD-R Audio discs) along with (Steinberg WaveLab).

- Will the recording medium matters in the case of CD mastering ?
