Help! Classical Music - Extensive use of Cymbals

Hello,

I need some help in identifying a piece of classical music I've heard a couple of weeks ago at a Hi-Fi Show.

Now, my classical music culture is quite lacking that's why I couldn't establish which piece I was listening to. It was very fast, like a march, and every measure was marked by crash cymbals. In fact, crash cymbals was the dominant theme of the piece. It ended with a huge cymbal clash obviously.

So, any idea to what I was listening too?

Thank you!

Bizet's Carmen ?!?!?!?!?!?

Hello,

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately no, is not the prelude from Bizet's Carmen.

Any other ideas?

Try Istanbul Mehmet Cymbals varieties and experience the sounds produced by cymbals.
