Listen to Vanill Fudge. Heavy and lots of B3 played by Mark Stein. And the not unknown Tim Bogert on bass a and Carmine Appice on drums.The old stuff of course.
Rare Bird have also some nice stuff.

Santana's keyboarder also used a hammond quite often at the end of the 60ies amd during the 70ies.

I believe that would be Gregg Rolie, who was also the original vocalist/keyboardist in Journey.
