No, I only toured twice as a part of the crew (I needed the money).
Once with Testament and Megadeth and once with the ballet of the German Opera Berlin.
After that I became a welder/fabricator with a company called Light&Sound Design who supplied lighting rigs and stage sets for the great and the good in the music business… and Metallica. Oddly enough Light&Sound Design never did sound at all but it abbreviates neatly into LSD, the selling of which provided the seed capital to their founder.
The world would be a better place had Lars Ullrich stuck to professional tennis rather than taking up drums. It still baffles me why and how they are so seemingly popular given that they are complete dicks. If a mysterious virus would wipe out all the drummers except Lars and Meg White Lars would be the worlds second best drummer.

But enough of this OT, somebody post No 15 and a new theme!
