I must confess that I didn't know that Jealous Guy was a John Lennon song. According to Song facts.com The Lennon version only charted at # 65 in the UK, whereas the Bryan Ferry version went straight to #1.

very interesting indeed, I think the 2 week chart thing was for the Roxy Music recording and released right after John death, timing is everything I reckon. Strange this wasn't ever on a studio Roxy album, Bryans never got too much airplay in the US, I think the live concert version is more prevalent.
