I grow mustard in my garden and use it as a leaf vegetable like kale.

Okay, I'll accept a vote of the first nine members to respond here on whether it stays. The list was supposed to be songs about vegetables. Instrumentals are okay because they could be about vegetables.

I don't really understand why you have issues with mustard which can be a condiment, spice or vegetable while you have no problems regarding rats (No 10) as a vegetable.

That's a fair point but since it's an instrumental and salad generally has vegetables, I didn't really have a cause for elimination there. The Mr. Mustard song does not appear to be about vegetables but if the poster can give even a slight indication on how it is, I will take back my objection. The real question is whether we will honor the list or just post what we will. If you don't agree with my logic, I will accept your vote to uphold the entry.

The vegetable is virtually, if not literally, always called mustard greens (like turnip greens and collard greens).
But the rules here have always been quite bendable. It wouldn't be difficult to find even worse stretching of the topic.
