The 15 Song Album collection:

Let's try something different. Artist that had a guest artist (credited or uncredited) that played on the song. The next entry would be that guest artist's song with their guest artist.

Example:

01 - Sonny Landreth - Blue Angel w/ Robben Ford (guitar)
02 - Robben Ford - Keep On Running w/ Edgar Winter (sax)
03 - Edgar Winter... and so on.

Let's start...

This one's for you Cal... :D

01 - Sonny Landreth - Howlin' Moon - Jimmy Buffet (background vocals)

have another go kec but be kind to us lesser mortals.

I'll have to get my mate who owns the local independent music shop to join just for this thread. He's been slowly ripping his music collection (and its not just everything he stocks). 149,000 tracks and counting  He knows every album that I'm looking for, have owned and probably ever will own - a real buff. A man who loves the job he's in rather than a spooty yoof with a weekend job

From the album " The Secret Jam "

More of a collaboration than artists guesting but gets us out of this impasse, take your pick which "guest" artist you want to lead with........:)

I hope this counts as most of John Mayall's albums is different personel, so they can almost all be counted as guest artists. This is from the Turning Point live album.

I see nothing wrong with using Google to check out an idea. The trick here in a post IMHO is to leave a well respected artist to lead the next post. This is why I left a choice of three. ( John Mayall would also have been my choice considering the level of talent that's played with him)

Fair play to Cal finding somebody as talented as Leon Russell to guest for Jimmy.....;)

:) You might be surprised who Jimmy has as friends. He'll be 65 this Christmas day so he's been around a bit. He's one of the wealthier entertainers to have walked the planet and has done more in his one life than I might in three.
