Melinda Doolittle - Coming Back To You
I just listened to Melinda's debut album in its entirety and all I can say is that it was well worth the wait. The music is exciting, fresh, colorful, and very inspiring. The 2nd track, "It's Your Love" is my fave. It is remarkable. Track #12, "We Will Find A Way" is uplifting and inspirational. The songs are short and there is no filler whatsoever. There are 14 tracks in all. I can't wait to replay the whole album.
The accompanying musicians are very good, and the mix is outstanding. Melinda's voice is pure, flawless, and powerful. As great as she sounded on season 6 of American Idol in 2007, her vocal chops are even better now. I highly recommend this CD. Singers like this are quite rare.
