There are so many different sub-categories.
My current favourites: Dimmu-borgir, Amorphis and Summoning But I don't think they'll be considered 'classics' 30 years on. |

I agree, there are so many different sub-genres of metal that it's really an impossible question to answer. It also depends on what your classification of metal is. I personally like the more classic bands, such as Judas Priest, iron Maiden, and Megadeth, but I like a lot of the newer stuff as well.

Iam an iron maiden fan, but i listen to almoust everything.. In Flames is a cool band that evryone thats like heavy shuld check up.. and dont forget at the gates
