I checked it out, interesting indeed. You can sign up as a beta tester, but I don't know what this brings you in addition. Could it be that they are planning to convert this into an audio on demand pay service channnel?

The sound quality is, even for Internet radio, rather on the low side. Do you know what compression algorithm and what bit rate they are using?
