Does anybody know if the recently published remastered U2 cd's are any beter as the first releases.

I find they do sound much better -- not difficult as the 'original' CDs I had (released under the Island Masters series) were really awful (sounded dull, flat).
October is a favorite of mine, and I'm glad a remaster came out. The bonus discs are worthwhile too. For War and the The Joshua Tree, I also have the MFSL versions, which I still like a little more than the new remasters. In a box in an attic somewhere I still have them all on vinyl... |
