Default StrongBad, anyone?

Thanks Eric and Fred, I'll save these links in case the thread gets
binned. You may or may not also enjoy this link, which I got from
my stepdaughter (but I also find it pretty cute):

Just don't tell the mods about it, ok ?.

Second thoughts, that S&M sin-bin sounds like fun.

Default TESLA.

Hi,

All fun aside, Niklas Tesla happens to be a major source of inspiration to me.

Not a scientist I would make fun of in a hurry...of course you're all just kidding, right?

Eric, prepare your coils (springs as you coin them)...

Default Weird Science

Hi Frank,

NT is not someone that I would make fun of either.
The concept of his life story in Morse Code seems pretty far out to me however.

Yes he did very much change/enable modern life as we know it.
I read a statement by NT that Einsteins theory describes only one special case, and is otherwise wrong.
Recent researches seem to be backing this up.
Go read Tom Bearden for some interesting/weird stuff along these lines too.

Eric.

Default SCIENTISTS.

Hi,

Dig your heels in a bit, ...visit some libs and look at Einstein's quantum physics studies, look at Nicolas Tesla's studies...

None have anything to do with music reproduction at first glance...'till you start thinking...there you go....wouch...these guys are so smart...then you think, hey...why not implement some of their ideas into the audio field, right?

That's smart thinking!

\Don Quichote.

P.S.Talk to you soon Albert..
Signed Nicola.

Ahh, yeahh, already doing that - sorry, you'll just have to wait a bit longer to see my results though.
I'll bet my **** that you'll like them.

What did Einstein have to do with quantum physics, except for
not believing in it???

Incredible what was ever recorded! That shownand tell site is really great. Going to take a closer look in second hand shops at the record section from now on.

Tesla is one of my favourite topics also, this is probably given away by the other half of my website:

http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/mefinnis/tesla/

On the topic of music and Tesla, there are a number of people who have built frequency modulated tube coils.

(For the uninitiated there are two broad types of coil, using either a spark-gap as a switch or a high-powered tube as the switch.)

In terms of contribution to music, I would guess that Tesla's greatest contribution was the invention of radio (the invalid claim by Marconi was settled in the US Patents court some years ago I believe.)

I am often asked, "why do you make lightening?" ...... simple, because I can ;-)

Now, for a website that will "blow your mind", try this:

http://www.lod.org/electrum/electrumpics.html

cheers
