I'll see your Leonard Nimoy, and raise you a William Shatner.

I've heard it, and I cried. Then I asked for someone to kill me so I wouldn't have to hear it again.

Missus: Not tonight, I have a headache.
Hubby: OK, then, I'm going to play William Shatner's 'The Transformeed Man'.
Missus: Come here and ravage me you beast......

Brett, I was in an airport lounge a few years back when I heard the Voice. I looked up and, sure enough, it was Barry White, large as life (and that is indeed large). He was chatting with two of the supermodel-looking women in his entourage. As he swept through the room, I swear that in his wake you could see every female in there sliding off their chairs, leaving puddles behind.

I don't understand it, but I made note of the observation.

Moondance, V. Morrison...I wonder what a rendition by Mr. White would sound like?

You beat me! I wondered when someone was going to list Van the Man. Thought of it this morning.

I wanna dance when Moondance comes on. I'd find it distracting when bumping uglies.

Come on Sy, don't you read the science news?

Recent study shows that men with lower voices have more sex - or at least more kids.
Deep Voices Lucky in Love

And then there's Wayne Newton. "Donka-Shane, Darlin', Donka-Shane."
Science will never explain that.

Al Green is always a big hit with the ladies.
Grover Washington Jr... Winelight Album with "Just the Two of Us" is good too.
Dave Grusin, David Benoit, Larry Carlton, Joni Mitchell, Sade, Jim Croce, Seals and Crofts... all get 'r done.

Of course I prefer David Peel and the Lower East Side, with Happy Mother's Day, Up Against the Wall, Here Comes a Cop... etc...
MY all time favorite is Edgar Winter's FRANKENSTEIN... because that's what it sounds like in my brain when I start pinging. Works for me.
