The Mars Volta, Amputechture.
This is not so much for getting the mood started, but for the main event!

Ampu-techture???

A once only event?

Back in the day, some Michael Franks could get you instantly into the ballpark. But you still had to bring it home, though. Can't really recall a time I wanted to be distracted by music while makin' whoopy, though.

In all seriousness... for the long slow ride...

"Nada Brahma" ("Sound Is God")

By Sheila Chandra.

I have a friend who owed the biggest/last independent record store (that had direct access to the labels) in Canada. He has over 15k albums and has heard it all. He has a reputation about town. So bad that he had to shop in a different country when he finally decided to get married. Seriously. He says that this was his ultimate make out album.

I find it bizarre that people need music to bonk to. I just need a partner and a place, and I'm not bashful so I have plenty of alternatives for the latter.

phile: 'My darling, are those implants?, my I must say they do bring a clarity and spacial feeling to the middle zone... blah blah blah'

the woman "yea right, the old 'lil' pillow aka placebo in the small of the back does wonders for my 'upper mid section' get on with lil fella'...

Me I'd prefer that she say yes once in a while, and we just go at it there and then... unless the kids are awake, then there is no much chance of that happening anytime soon .... hohum

Unless your 'wooing' a new woman, then I used to go the old Sade works, anything slow and smooth, unless you into kinky stuff, then crank up your metal for some other speedy pace :-) me I like doin it slow-n-smooth :-)
