Piaf like you've never heard her before
Took the XYL to see "La Vie en Rose" last night -- I have 2 vinyl pressings from the 1950s -- the digital reconstruction of her voice in the movie is just wonderful. It is a must see movie.
Aside from the director's shocking use of Giulletta Messina's mannerism...and the wife ran had to ring out her handkerchief afterwards. |
