Shostakovich - 4th Symphony
Does anyone have a CD of Kiril Kondrashin conducting the Moscow Symphony Orchestra in Shostakovich's Symphony # 4 ?
The original recording was released on the Russian "Melodiya" label as a 2-LPs set. There has been CD releases on several labels via license agreement with Melodiya :- Chant Du Monde ; BMG ; Aulos ; and one other Company I have forgotten the name of, in a boxed set, {as was the Aulos release}. What Company/label is your release on ? Is the music in Mono or in Stereo on that CD ? That is, for the 4th Symphony, as some of the sets have the other Symphonies of Shostakovich in Stereo, but possibly not the 4th Symph.
