Default auto speakers for home audio

I have some 4x6 auto speakers rated at 4ohms and 95dB sensitivity. The car is gone and I'm interested in playing with using them for my workshop as test speakers for amp projects (at this point, each project can handle the 4ohms). Any suggestions for what I can do with them? Infinite baffle? TL? Others?

thanks,
Carl

Hi. Do you have the ability to test thier T/S specs? These are needed to properly design an enclosure, but are seldom published by the manufacturers.
"Good" results can be had with some car speakers. I have a pair in my garage that I built using Pioneer 2-ways that I tested myself. They sound great out there.

Have fun.

Build a shoe box sized enclosure out of MDF and mount the things The sound will be more than decent.
OR you could Dick around for months 'experimenting' with every Half brained idea posted here and likely get less result :-)

Well said... a very scientific approach you have there. Don't try to make them sound thier best, that's "dicking" around.
Nice words of encouragement.
