Series resistor questions. Need a Caddock (MP821) 5.3 ohm (non-standard size) series resistor for a tweeter "L Pad". Closest available are 5.0 ohm or possibly 5.5 ohm.
1. Will there be an audible difference if I'm off by 0.3 or 0.2 ohms? 2. Can I place 2 or 3 lower value MP821s in series summing to 5.3 without changing the sound? |

1 You should be okay as there are variances within the tolerance anyway.
2 Yes provided you use low inductance resistors. |
