Talking 1 down 1 to go

Just finished mounting the crossovers in one of the Kit 81m. so i have 1 speaker done. Initial impressions are good (considering i only get to hear what they sell in stores and the yamaha monitors up at school ) much more midrange and low end compared to bose 501's that i have. just waiting till i can build them square before i bother to finish the exterior of a box (see second picture). let me know what you think (i know not much to say about raw MDF)

What are those drivers? The woofer seems fairly close to onw side of the box, any reason for that? Are these ported? If not, why not?

driver is an adire audio AV8. tweeter is an Audax TM025F1. The 8" ended up being about an eight of an inch to one side, dont know how that happened.... maybe my baffle was a little bigger then spec. box is sealed, because thats what the design calls for. there ment to be studio monitors, here is a link to the pdf on them. http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/KIT81MPlans.PDF

You can find polyfill at any fabric store, and usually the big box stores. So check, Kmart, WalMart, Target, etc .
