Default Salvage Magnavox Console

My local thrift store has a vintage Magnavox console for $10. I believe it is a solid state from the mid sixties. Any thoughts on whether it would be worthwhile project to re-box the speakers. I assume it has a 2 way speakers.

I just finished the opposite on a mid-sixties console for my brother. The speakers had cloth surround that had grown hard and brittle, so I replaced them with Pioneer B20s and a dome tweeter crossed with a 2uf capacitor and it sounds suprisingly good.
