Where do all you (Any?) people from Perth Western Australia get your drivers and Xover parts from?. I know of Jaycar and Mass technologies in spearwood.. but of none others?. WHat about all you other australians? do you order in parts or what? Big shipping costs?

Yellow pages telephone directory has most of them. Otherwise a short list includes:
WAR Audio for Focal, Accuton, Cabasse, Axon/Aen capacitors/resistors, custom inductors, Raven tweeters, PHL, Black hole damping, various accessories etc. Jaycar for capacitors, inductors, drivers, resistors, terminal jacks etc. Altronics similar to Jcar; RS Components same; Audio Synergy has some things; Dick Smiths same; Hardware stores for plumbing ports, MDF, screws; Sign writing shops for MDF computor routing services; Engineering acoustic suppliers for egg crate foam stuffing and damping; Furniture upholstery shops for dacron stuffing, floor vinyl or rubber supply shops for wall damping; Building site rubbish dumpsters for free plumbing ports, TV coaxial cable, MDF scraps, screws, fibreglass stuffing, glue tubes, paint, food scraps, sandwiches, beer (if ya lucky!), jokes, well used underpants, newspapers and magazines. I travel to the States a lot so I bring back stuff with me. For smaller stuff Madisound has very good shipping rates.

peter@me-au.com yep, he's the guy that makes ME amps ! don't tell him I sent you, he may charge you extra ;-) WES components for for non-inductive wire 10w resistors. see the link Al.M posted. btw , did you know tha ME caps are black with white ends, so they don't colour the sound !! (that's a joke btw) |

No, a friend found them in his street, brought them around, and said "do you want these ?."
